World Down Syndrome Day 2008

On Friday, the 28th March 2008, a celebration for The World Down Syndrome Day was held at The Barn, Cracroft Guide Centre. We did Ceroc dancing, hanging out with our friends, had pizza for dinner and ate dessert. After dinner we did some Ceroc dancing and we had to find a partner. We had to learn some movements of Rock ‘n’ Roll and there were some dancing experts

After that we danced to some disco music and I danced to the YMCA and Grease Lightning. We went off to have some dessert so that we could have a rest from dancing. After dessert we watched some demos of people dancing because one of the people will be competing in a competition soon.

When I got to the Barn I met up with Grace, Sammy and Sam. I also met up with Scott, Jamie, Matthew, Anna, Alexandra and Georgina from Riccarton High School.

It was a rock ‘n’ rolling night.
